The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, February 4 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will throw a wrench into Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) celebration.
Also coming up, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will be glad that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) spoke to his mother. Plus, Victor will be disappointed. And Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will grill Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will drink at the GCAC bar and leave a message for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Then Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will walk in and Billy will tell him his mother’s taken a turn for the worse. “I don’t know what I’m gonna do if I lose her.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Jack Tells Billy It Could Possibly Be A Mistake
Jack will be shocked and he’ll ask Billy what Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) reaction could be if she finds out he’s back at Chancellor. “This is possibly a real mistake,” he’ll add. Billy will ask Jack if Phyllis would do a better job. “I only trust Nikki to run it,” Jack will reply.
Meanwhile, Lauren will worry about her sister. She’ll tell Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) that Snapper says Jill’s heart has weakened. “I just wish we didn’t live so far apart,” Lauren will add. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will show up and they’ll discuss Victor losing Newman Enterprises. Michael will feel sorry for his old friend but Diane won’t.
“He deserves to reap what he sows,” she’ll add. Lauren will say she couldn’t agree more and turn to Michael. “He’s going to do everything he can to use you to get Newman back.” Billy will appear and Lauren will say she’s happy he and Jill are on speaking terms now. She’ll also say she thought it was unusual that Jill didn’t know about the Newman takeover.
As for Diane, she’ll return home and argue with Jack about who is more trustworthy, Michael or Nikki. Eventually, they’ll agree to disagree. “I know one thing we can agree on,” Jack will say to his wife. “Victor is getting exactly what he deserves.”
At the ranch, Chelsea will walk in and tell Victor she wants to get ahead of something she’s done. She’ll admit she pushed Adam to tell her his scheme. “Victor, if this is really your plan, I have a big problem with it,” Chelsea will add.
She’ll say she’s really concerned that the only way they could pull it off would be an actual abduction. “Even Nikki had a problem with it.” Victor will be furious when he finds out his wife knows about it as well. But Chelsea will say Nikki had a great idea.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Return It Or Never See His Family Again
Nikki will walk in and say her idea doesn’t matter because Victor has set his plan in motion. “Tell me what you have done with Lily and the twins,” she’ll ask Victor. Adam will show up and say he’d like an answer to that himself. “I’m not going to explain myself to anyone,” Victor will reply. “But I’m very disappointed that my son didn’t keep his mouth shut.” And he’ll leave.
Chelsea will say if they can find out how far along the plan is, they could intervene. Adam will point out Victor’s already kickstarted his plan and could be using Cane’s family as a bargaining chip as they speak. “I hate that it’s come to this,” Nikki will say.
Adam will tell her she has to have faith that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will understand. But Nikki will ask if he would have divulged the plan in the first place, if Chelsea hadn’t pressured him. And Chelsea will say she’d like an answer to that as well.
At Newman Enterprises, Phyllis and Cane will walk into Victor’s former office. Phyllis will say the office feels so different, without Victor’s massive portrait, and ego, sucking up the air in the room. Cane will tell her the sky’s the limit. So, she’ll say they rename the company and call it Ashby Summers.
Phyllis will add it could be enterprises, or inc., or limited. “Just to be clear, none of what you said is gonna happen,” he’ll reply. “I wouldn’t change the name to Ashby Summers any more than I’d change the name from Coca-Cola to Cane Cola, that wouldn’t make any sense!”
But Phyllis will explain it’s her way of saying screw you to all the people who belittled her. Cane will say the people who matter most are going to know she’s the woman behind the curtain. “We have the power now, we are in control.”
Finally, Victor will arrive and tell Cane he shouldn’t count on it. He’ll ask to speak to him alone and he’ll tell him he wants to make a deal. “You sign Newman Enterprises back over to me, or you never see your family again.” But what is Cane going to do?
